This week Matt and I were lucky enough to get the same days
off so we decided to use our x-mas money to go on a little trip. We
have spent the last couple of days in Lake Louise. We had 2 nights at the Lake
Louise Inn where we enjoyed a massive king sized bed and a luxurious bath. Well
it felt pretty lush anyway.
Yesterday morning we went to see the Lake. Although it was
frozen, it was still beautiful. There was even a castle made of ice.

We spent the rest of the day snowboarding (I am happy to say
I am getting much better) followed by a relaxing bath and dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The bed was so big I could barely reach across ways... Amazing compared to our cramped single beds!

Today we got up early and went straight to the hill and got
even more boarding in before running errands on the way home.
Here is a video of me snowboarding :) I can only 'leaf' though which means I can only go side to side on my heels. Next step is learning how to switch onto my toes so I can stay on my dominant leg facing forwards.
