Greetings from Banff

Hi all, sorry it has taken me so long to write. We haven't had internet connection.

So after, 2 planes (approx 15 hours air time)
7 hours in the airport
2 days in the city (Calgary)
and
2 hours on a bus...
.....and finally we are in Banff, Canada.

It has been a long and crazy couple of days.
Customs and immigration was much easier than expected (the Canadians love Aussies).

Some things we noticed about the city...
- everyone drinks coffee
- everyone drives big trucks
- its cold
- the sun doesn't rise until 8am
- the waffles are good
- the coffee is cheap ($2)
- the city life is not for us

The fog in Calgary

The day we left Calgary, was the coldest I have been in my life! It was foggy and freezing and we had to walk to the train station with all of our luggage.. definitely thought it was about to snow..

We got the greyhound bus to Banff, which was a pleasant 2 hour drive up into the mountains, lots of beautiful scenery,
We have spent the last 2 days exploring the small town of Banff and trying to find jobs, The town is so pretty! Just like the movies.

Today is Halloween and there are lots of children dressed up trick or treating in the shops. There is a dress up party at the hostel tonight so we found some face paint to wear (I will post a photo of the finished product).

Happy Together....

Last Monday (29/9/14) It was our 4 year Anniversary.

I am so so grateful to have had Matt in my life for this time and can not wait to start the next chapter of our lives as we move overseas.
