Not quite goodbye....

On Friday September 19, 2014, it was my last day of work at FELC. It was so very sad to leave after 4 years (I may have cried a couple of times) but I am so grateful to have worked in such an amazing place surrounded by beautiful friends and families.

I will never forget the amazing children and families I have met over the years and can't wait to see how much they have grown when I return.




I have enjoyed all of the drawings, cards and gifts I have received, (especially those that were handmade by the children) so thank you all so much for your thoughts and wishes!

The necklace I received from Viv, the team and parents (made by wonderful Sarah) is absolutely stunning and so so special. I will think of you all when I wear it.

Thank you also to the amazing women I have had the pleasure of working with. You have each taught me many valuable lessons about both work and life. Thanks to those of you who joined me for dinner and drinks on Friday night. What a hoot! Being the young chicken of the team has sometimes been a challenge for me, but I also feel so privileged to learn from you all (its like having 10 or so Aunties to talk to and ask for advice - every single day).

My tasks over the next 2 weeks include;

• Getting through all of my assignments. (1 out of 5 submitted so far)
• Organising lessons and portfolio for my 3 weeks of teaching prac over at MFAC that starts after the holidays
• Travel documents, itineraries and packing for Canada (as I wont have a lot of time once prac starts), and;
• A going away party with friends and family

Matt has put in his resignation and finishes up work on the 12th of October and we fly out on the 28th.
